Love the new Airtel Ads

Simply love the Vidya balan-Madhavan Airtel ads.... in a matter of seconds, the couple portray their love so simply.... and I really like the simple actions in the ads... like Madhavan lying on the bed and talking to her.. or Vidya Balan throwing the cards at his face in the train sequence... or the scene where she keeps stopping the elevator when he is leaving for a trip....

Very very smooth... great execution...

Ah, the arrows of love strike another non-believer...

Last night I got first-hand experience of how love can turn people's head :)

Of all people, if A can have that weird grin on her face (after being on the phone for just 15 mins!), well then I've seen it all.

A self-proclaimed critic of all things romantic, she has just started feeling the initial rush of being in love. The eternal cynic that she is, madam says that it's no big deal and that we don't know what we're talking about. She is not mushy, not romantic, never says "I love you" etc. But, but but... the moment his call came, she totally forgot her speech and was happily yapping away with the smitten look writ all over her face (Ok, we couldn't see her expression coz she turned her back to us!)... but the blush on her face when she turned towards us...!! We were simply ROFLing.... :))) It was just soooo cute to see her act like this :)

Everyone kept on and on about "A! Is this you?" and "We can't believe you said yes to a guy!!" ehheehehe.... overall an amazing slumber party with a lot of beans spilled out :))

Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is around the corner again. This day always brings mixed feelings. Partly nice, partly sad, partly wierd, partly fun... I remember the times when all my friends would meet up and go to some place to celebrate this special day. There would be red heart balloons everywhere, there would be stalls with red roses everywhere, people would generally be in a very nice mood. There would be other gangs of friends, just out to have a nice time, and even though none of us had been in love, or were seeing anyone, this day just made you feel nice :)
All the people who question this Day, or suggest that it's a form of westernisation of our culture- are simply to be treated like a case of sour grapes :)
Seriously..! Coz, I'm sure that giving love or receiving love can never be anything but a means of happiness. What can be more lovely than the feeling that there is someone special who loves you or cares about you. Any day dedicated to this day is an awesome idea- so what if it's hyped by media or made into a commercial thing? Everyone wants to be loved... Everyone wants to be treated special... Everyone likes receiving flowers/gifts... :)
So here's to this day of Love, may everyone find true love in their lifetime, may this day bring only happiness and joy to all :)

Back on the topic of love

Am back after a long time. Got a much-needed break at home and am back in office now (with loads of backlog!). Got this fwd from a friend, called "Romantic things to do with your loved one". Generally I find these fwds to be really stupid and senti stuff, but this one was really cute. So I thought I'll just pick up the ones I liked the best and put them here...

Things like- watching the sunset together...whispering to each other...Cooking for him/her....walking in the rains, hand in hand :)
Roses...hugs (the universal medicine)...dancing together....making excuses to call every 5 mins :D
Brushing her hair out of her face for her(tis a pity girls can't do the same)...falling asleep while on the phone with each other...

All those of you who have ever been in love, who hope to be in love and those who are in love... go and make that someone-special feel special today :)
